Jinji Takeguchi

 

Born in 1990.

He is half Japanese and half Canadian.

He moved to Canada from Japan to become a professional basketball player.

While playing basketball at highschool, he discovered freestyle basketball and started using his street name "Kamikaze" while posting his video clips on the internet.

In 2008 and 2009, he became the No.1 freestyle basketballer in one of the most respected competitions in the world, "Japan's most prominent freestyle basketball battle.

" He was the first to win the competition for two years in a row, and at the youngest age.

He returned to Japan in 2010 and started his career as a professional freestyler.

He has won competitions and battles, appeared in events, commercials,

and has been inspiring the world with a single ball ever since.

He has also been serving as a judge for shows overseas and has appeared in TV and radio as a DJ, fashion model and mc.

He keeps expanding his career to explore his potentials and to expand and promote the freestyle basketball culture.
